Saks Fifth Avenue, Bahrain host exclusive fashion event

Saks Fifth Avenue was delighted to host an exclusive fashion event that launched the new diffusion Made-to-Measure and Ready-to-Wear collections from renowned designer, Walla.

The event, held at Saks Fifth Avenue, City Centre Bahrain saw star of the show, Walla, launch her new collections, showcasing her unique interpretations of the modern Arabic woman's wardrobe - to stunning effect utilizing magnificent colours of pure luxury: royal blue, magenta, fuchsia, turquoise and black.

Walla's inspiration for this collection is based on the "Royal Crown" and consists of 18 individual designs blending the true Arabian elegance with the creative flair of modern styles using the finest chiffon, jersey, and lace mixed with quality and rich embroidery, extraordinary beadwork, and sparkling crystals. The collection is dominated by striking embroideries luxuriously contrasted with Arabian elegance and modern styling to ensure the sophisticated woman enjoys ‘the best of both worlds’.

Retaining her trademark exclusivity and distinct design style by using only the very highest quality fabrics and production techniques, Walla inspired the same level of devotion that the designer's signature Walla range has inspired since it was first launched at the Dubai Fashion Show in 2001.

The event was held at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bahrain City Centre on 12 November 2009 from 8pm onwards, for VIP customers by invite only. Guests enjoyed a welcoming cocktail reception, and an opportunity to enter a raffle sponsored by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts with the chance to win a weekend stay at their hotels in Cairo, Florence, Seychelles, Sydney, Beirut, Paris or Riyadh.
